Michael has 25 years of accounting experience including work in Australia and the UK and with almost 20 years experience in the aged care sector, he has seen significant changes within the industry and the governance required to maintain strategic direction and effective operations. With a background in ICT, Michael has also overseen the implementation of critical systems infrastructure projects and ensuring strong IT governance. Currently, as the Chief Operating Officer at Goodwin Aged Care Services, in addition to the strategic responsibility for traditional corporate functions, Michael is also responsible for the quality, risk and compliance teams. Michael currently acts as a Company Secretary, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a member of CPA Australia.
